In 2008, I decided to embark upon a bit of a reading adventure and work my way through the Three Investigators series (only up to book 30, the last to be written when Hitchcock was still alive and the last one I class as official). I planned to read one a month, which meant it’d take me two and a half years.
As I write this, it’s 29th December 2010 and my little re-reading odyssey is over - I’ve just finished “The Mystery Of The Invisible Dog” and it was a great title to go out on. I closed the book last night and reflected that a peculiar little idea I had two-and-a-half years ago is now realised and, to be honest, I felt a little dismayed. I’ve really enjoyed re-reading the books and my flippant suggestion about doing an "all time" top 10 now seems like an excellent idea!
This blog contains the capsule reviews I posted for each book at GoodReads.com, along with little bits and bobs of “additional material”.
I am very grateful to Philip Fulmer at the T3I Readers site, for his permission to use the cover scans and I’d also like to thank Ian Regan for his invaluable and well constructed cover art database. Go check out their sites (they're listed below).
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you find things here useful.
